HOBBY
Body 1. OEM stock steel or alumium bodies must maintain stock appearance. 2. OPTIONAL BODIES: Stock Appearing Aftermarket Steel or alumium bodies will be allowed. All aftermarket bodies must have plastic nose Roofs must be Stock Appearing Fiberglass or Steel, No Dirt Late Model style roofs. Hood may be fiberglass, aluminum or steel. If you use an aftermarket body install it right, No flat-sided bodies, and no dirt late model style bodies allowed. All bodies must be mounted straight-up this means your roof is mounted exactly in the center of the chassis (left to right) All bodies stock or aftermarket are subject to approval by the technical inspector. (Install it right the first time). 3. No front push bars will be allowed. If you feel you need some protection for the radiator you may build a guard using tubing, but all tubing must be kept completely behind front bumper in the grill area. If you have a body style with a plastic nosepiece all guards must be behind nosepiece. 4. Rear push bars permitted. 5. All cars with stock bodies must have OEM type front & rear bumpers no homemade tube type bumpers. Cars with aftermarket bodies must have plastic nosepiece

Rear Suspension No spring bars allowed on rear suspension of any kind.

Coil Spring Car (must remain coil spring car) 1. May use a three point set up with a solid mount upper link bar, solid bar & rod ends. No 90-10's spring bar or rubber bushing torque links allowed. 2. Solid pan hard bars with rod ends permitted. 3. Rear lower control arms may be aluminum or steel tubes with rod ends with a maximum length of 26" inches from center to center of the mounting holes. 4. Rod ends allowed on solid pan hard bar, solid upper link bar and rear lower control arms, this is the only place rod ends will be allowed on rear suspension. 5. No 90-10's spring bar or rubber bushing torque links. No 5th coil, lift bar, pull bar or Reese bar, etc. 6. 5" minimum O.D. on coil springs. 7. No coil overs or coil over eliminators. 8. Racing shocks permitted one shock per wheel, No canister shocks. 9. 3 link - No biscuit bar.
Roll Cage 1. All cars must have a suitable steel roll cage protecting the driver's compartment. 2. Side roll bars are mandatory and must extend into door panels a minimum of three bars must be used on left side and two on right side. 3. Bars must be at least 1-1/2" inch in diameter and a minimum of .095" inch wall thickness. 4. Roll cage must be welded to frame. 5. Seat must be fastened to roll bars or rail.
Safety 1. All cars must have 3" inch seat belts with shoulder harness and must be attached to roll cage. 2. We strongly recommend that all cars have an approved fire extinguisher system securely mounted within easy reach of the driver. 3. A 5lb. Halon System is recommended. 4. All drivers must wear a complete fire suit.
Number 1. Number must be at least 18" inches high and on both sides and top of car.
Fuel Cell 1. An approved fuel cell mandatory (32 gallon maximum) must be securely mounted in the trunk area of the car, inside a .20 gauge metal box supported by a minimum of two 2" inch by 1/8 inch steel straps. 2. Gas only- no alcohol- no nitrous oxide, nitro methane or other nitrate additives. 3. No propylene oxide.

have radiator protection bar, cannot extend past front bumper. Rear of car must be closed in NO open rears.

Coil spring cars must have springs mounted in stock location, and use stock trailing arms. Urethane bushings permitted.

Safety 1. Approved helmet and full fire resistant driver's suit required.
2. All cars must have a minimum 2lb. fire extinguisher mounted inside of car within easy reach of the driver.
3. Stock seat with headrest ok. Racing seat recommeneded seat must be bolted with a minimum od 6 3/8" bolts
to bars that are welded to roll cage. Must have 3-point quick release type racing seat belt with shoulder harness 3" wide.
Must be bolted to roll cage with minimum od 3/8" bolt.
4. 6-point roll cage requied and must be welded to frame rails and all connections must be fully welded. All cages must be a minimum
diameter of 1 1/2" and minimum .090 wall thickness A minium of 3 horizontal bars is required in the drivers door and a minium of 2
in the passenger door. Roll bar installation and workmanship must be approved.
Engine 1. No high performance equipment or machine work permitted unless otherwise noted here.
2. Only stock factory street production V-8 or V-6 engines permitted Engines must be mounted in stock location center of chassis,
#1 spark plug must be in line with or in front of upper ball joint.
3. GM 350 c.i.d., Ford 351 c.i.d., Chrysler 340 or 360 c.i.d. Engines must be stock bore and stroke , 0.60ths over bore permitted.
4. No big blocks permitted.
5. Deck may be surfaced but pistons may not exceed the top of the block.
6. Racing oil pans permitted . Must be made of steel NO aluminum oil pans.
7. No engine interchanging car and engine must be same manufacturer.
8. Stock factory production steel or cast iron cranks ok. Eagle cast crank p/n 103503480 is allowed. This is the only aftermarket
crankshaft allowed, and must have factory numbers intact. No knife edging or lightening of cranks. Crankshafts must be
stock stroke to size of engine. No stroking or D-stroking.

10. Stock factory manifolds or chassis type collector headers. Headers must turn under firewall and have collectors. Must be
economy style header. No stepped tube headers, headers must be the same diameter from head flange to collector.
